Nightscape

The merging of lights at night from the 19th floor apartment where Mark and I lived and spent hours staring out the massive wall-like window. The overview of New Haven’s cityscape with its infrastructure bordered by the Long Island Sound looked especially bedazzling as the sparkle bounced and shimmered on the roads, buildings and traffic lights after heavy evening rains. With our candles, we enjoyed a calming time looking in a way that felt a lot like staring into the flames of a fire.
