Windows like Eye Sockets 

Placed against the vast walls the two windows looked like the pupils inside two eyes. Seeing the frames in that way may qualify me as a paranoid person who envisions observers peering out from hidden realms. But I do like to personify everything (even walls have eyes) and this tendency began early. As a child the floral wallpaper outside my bedroom contained a vertical line of flowers that morphed into jester-like faces, happy to jump out and greet me.
